Cute toadstool mug

My boyfriend bought this mug awhile ago. It was £10 from Topshop and comes in various different colours... Little does he now that i have now pinched it for my soup :) It keeps everything so nice and warm!!!

The lid also fits as a coaster as well!! A great purchase or gift :)

I absolutely love this Barry M glittery nail polish. I bought it from boots a couple of weeks ago and it is perfect for christmasy nails :) It's quite a thick polish and i did try wearing it on top of another colour but because its just sooooo glittery you couldn't see the under colour.

That doesn't matter though... THE MOST GLITTERY THE BETTER :D

Hi everyone... I just wanted to tell you all about an amazing new product i have tested... Clarins recommended a gentle peeling smooth away cream to me after i explained that i get quite dry skin in the winter. They gave me a free sample which contains 3 applications which should be done about once a week... I have just finished my first application this evening of the mask which you apply thinly over your dry face, leave for about 2 minutes then rub and it removes all the dead skin cells leaving your face really smooth and refreshed :)

I would highly recommend this product and will do another post in a weeks time to keep you updated :)

These rings are made from recycled cutlery!! They are such a unique idea and each one is unique, i saw them today at my local christmas market and fell in love with them! I am definitely going to buy one once i get paid tomorrow... Happy christmas to me!

I have found a tutorial of how to make your own cutlery rings if you fancy giving it a shot...
Alternatively Etsy.com has some companies which make all sorts of jewellery from cutlery :)

As a vegan, i find it very hard when wanting to eat out and always seem to end up with a jacket potato, soup or salad... However i am currently scouring England to find some hidden treasures for vegans.

I had a lovely meal in Taunton, South west England in a place called Roots Cafe. The decor is lovely and relaxing with comfy chairs, hanging lanterns and an outdoor tea garden for a sunny day. With a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and afternoon cakes available all day there was so much choice! I had the most lovely vegan breakfast consisting of, scrambled tofu, fried courgette rashers, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, a potato croquette and toast with vegan butter and a cup of tea! It was absolutely gorgeous!

My lovely mother has just phoned me to say she has made me a vegan/ gluten free nut roast for our christmas day meal :')
She used this simple nut roast recipe switching the wholemeal breadcrumbs to half white half brown gluten free bread.

Now i really cant wait until christmas!!

Easy Vegan Nut Roast

1 medium sized onion or 1 small leek, chopped
1 fl oz (30 ml) vegetable oil
2 tsp (10 ml) yeast extract in 1/4 pint hot water
8 oz (225g) chopped mixed nuts
2 tbsp ground almonds
4 oz (100g) wholemeal breadcrumbs
1 tbsp sage
Pinch cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Saute the onion or leek in the oil until soft, not browned.
2. Combine all of the ingredients together; the mixture may be slightly slack. Turn into an oiled ovenproof dish and bake in oven at 180C/350F/gas mark 4 for 30 minutes until golden brown. Serves 4-6
Getting my festive feet ready with my Vegan Dr Martens! These shoes will last me for life and after wearing real leather Dr Martens in the past, i have to admit the vegan ones are easier to wear in and so i didn't have the problems of getting loads of blisters and cuts. Such a good investment, i don't know what i would do without them and you can get them in a variety of colours too :D

Day 3 of the detox...

I am not feeling well today and haven't slept much last night. Just got back from my weekend in Devon so a warming cup of tea is the best thing to try and recover as quickly as possible for my trip home to Jersey for Christmas this week :) And this is where you become aware of how badly i am addicted to tea! I really want to have a go at making my own teabags!

Day 2

I made a milk alternative smoothie for my boyfriend to try :) Today i added a little bit of sweetness to yesterdays smoothie recipe as soya milk light is quite watery so it tasted a bit bland. I followed this by a 20 minute run with power walking intervals as i am not fit enough to run the entire way.

Verdict...? i feel boosted and full of energy :D

The most tasty vegan chilli for dinner with toasted rye bread croutons. Such a nice wintery meal sitting by the fire with my lovely boyfriend. Vanilla chai tea is brewing in the teapot to wash it all down. It's times like these which remind me why i love winter so much :)
Good morning everyone :)

Day 1 of my detox i am going to attempt a blueberry breakfast smoothie-
1 cup of blueberries
1 cup of soya milk
1 banana
crushed ice
Sprinkling of seeds if desired
